DRUG TRACKING SYSTEM
The Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System is the system of the Ministry of Health, and in order to protect public health, it monitors every drug entering Turkey at every stage from the production / import process to the delivery to the patient. In this way, counterfeit, illegal or expired drugs are prevented from reaching the patient.
In the Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System, a QR code solution is used to track all medicines on a box basis. Thanks to the QR code on each drug package, the drug boxes have gained a unique identity and their tracking in the drug supply chain has been made possible.
The Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System is used effectively by all stakeholders (manufacturer/importer, pharmaceutical warehouse, pharmacy, hospital, reimbursement institution) and safe medicine is ensured to reach the patient.
